* French lender Crédit Agricole SA named Meriem Echcherfi head of strategy, effective Oct. 1, Reuters reported.
Echcherfi will report to CFO Jerome Grivet and also join the extended executive committee. Echcherfi, who was most recently head of Mastercard Advisors France, takes over from Clotilde L'Angevin, who was recently appointed head of investor relations.
Permanent TSB
* Ireland's Permanent TSB Group Holdings PLC appointed Marian Corcoran to be a nonexecutive director of the board and said Richard Pike will leave as a director Dec. 17 upon conclusion of his six-year term. Corcoran is currently a nonexecutive director of Irish investment agency IDA Ireland.
OP Financial Group
* Tony Vepsäläinen will retire from OP Financial Group's central cooperative, effective Dec. 31.
Vepsäläinen will leave as vice chair of OP Financial's central cooperative, deputy president and group executive chair and executive board member overseeing operations. Vepsäläinen has been on the central cooperative's executive board since 2006.
