Eslite Spectrum Corp. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was NT$1.69 per share, a decline from NT$1.77 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$80.1 million, a decline from NT$83.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 7.2% from 7.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to NT$1.11 billion from NT$1.14 billion, and total operating expenses totaled NT$1.01 billion, compared with NT$1.02 billion in the prior-year period.
Reported net income fell 45.1% from the prior-year period to NT$75.0 million, or NT$1.58 per share, from NT$136.6 million, or NT$2.88 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$7.27 per share, a gain of 14.7% from NT$6.34 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$345.1 million, a rise of 14.7% from NT$300.8 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose 11.5% from the prior-year period to NT$4.26 billion from NT$3.82 billion, and total operating expenses increased 11.1% year over year to NT$3.81 billion from NT$3.43 billion.
The company said reported net income grew year over year to NT$420.8 million, or NT$8.87 per share, in the full year, from NT$411.6 million, or NT$8.68 per share.
