CEO of defunct Banco Paris leaves Banco Cencosud board

Peru-based Banco Cencosud SA said director Marcelo Reyes Sangermani resigned from his position on the board, effective April 1.

The bank said that Reyes, who had served as CEO of former Cencosud unit Banco Paris since 2015, stepped down in order to seek "new challenges," according to a March 31 filing.

Banco Paris was dissolved and liquidated after Scotiabank Chile acquired its remaining assets and liabilities at the end of 2016.
