Home Depot-led $37M funding will help Roadie expand operations

Roadie Inc. will use the $37 million raised from an oversubscribed series C funding round led by Home Depot Inc. to grow its enterprise sales team and expand its product.

The delivery-service startup will also use the funding to "better leverage data, predict routes and match untapped capacity to delivery-demand in real time," the company told S&P Global Market Intelligence in a March 12 emailed statement.

Other investors of the funding round include Warren Stephens and TomorrowVentures LLC. Roadie has raised $62 million to date.

Atlanta-based home improvement retailer Home Depot said in September 2018 that is teaming up with Roadie and delivery startup Deliv to expand its supply chain network.

Walmart Inc. added Roadie to its team in January to expand its online grocery delivery options.
