Capital Nomura Securities to delist on Thailand bourse

Nomura Holdings Inc. plans to delist its unit, Capital Nomura Securities PCL, from the Thailand stock exchange.

Under the delisting plan, Nomura's wholly owned unit Nomura Asia Investment (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. will acquire all of Capital Nomura Securities' listed shares worth up to about ¥2.7 billion, according to an Oct. 3 release.

The shares will be offered at 2.51 Thai baht apiece and will be offered from early January 2020 to early March 2020.

The offer is subject to approval from shareholders of Capital Nomura Securities and the Thailand bourse.

As of Oct. 3, US$1 was equivalent to ¥106.83 and 30.54 Thai baht.
