Astro Corp. said its third-quarter normalized net income was a loss of 75 Taiwan cents per share, compared with a loss of 27 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of NT$53.8 million, compared with a loss of NT$19.5 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue fell 60.2% on an annual basis to NT$16.2 million from NT$40.6 million, and total operating expenses grew 43.4% from the prior-year period to NT$110.4 million from NT$77.0 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of NT$85.3 million, or a loss of NT$1.18 per share, compared to a loss of NT$42.0 million, or a loss of 58 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
