Handsman Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 came to ¥13.91 per share, a gain of 60.1% from ¥8.69 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥211.9 million, a gain of 62.2% from ¥130.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 3.2% from 1.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell on an annual basis to ¥6.56 billion from ¥6.75 billion, and total operating expenses fell year over year to ¥6.37 billion from ¥6.68 billion.
Reported net income grew 70.9% year over year to ¥200.0 million, or ¥13.13 per share, from ¥117.0 million, or ¥7.78 per share.
