China Vanadium yet to restart Maoling-Yanglongshan iron ore mine due to floods

China Vanadium Titano-Magnetite Mining Co. Ltd. has yet to restart its Maoling-Yanglongshan iron ore mine in China's Sichuan province after mudslides caused by severe flooding disrupted the operation in August.

The mudslides did not cause major damage to the mine, although access to some roads near the site remains limited due to sporadic flooding. The company said Sept. 18 that it will continue to monitor the situation.

In 2018, the mine produced 105,200 tonnes of iron ore.
