S&T Motiv Q3 profit climbs 67.2% YOY

S&T Motiv Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 1,329.42 South Korean won per share, a gain of 63.7% from 812.10 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 19.45 billion won, an increase of 67.2% from 11.63 billion won in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.9% from 4.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 283.67 billion won from 271.89 billion won, and total operating expenses came to 254.55 billion won, compared with 253.41 billion won in the prior-year period.

Reported net income increased 59.9% from the prior-year period to 23.36 billion won, or 1,597.00 won per share, from 14.61 billion won, or 1,020.00 won per share.

As of Nov. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 1,155.56 South Korean won.
