Botswana Metals rebrands as Six Sigma Metals

Botswana Metals Ltd. said Dec. 5 that it changed its name to Six Sigma Metals Ltd. after shareholders approved the change at the Nov. 27 annual general meeting.

In relation to its stock, the name change will be effective Dec. 11, and the company's shares will start trading under the new stock code SI6.

In addition, the ASX-listed company issued 547,294,744 pre-consolidated shares at 0.082 Australian cent each under its share purchase plan. The company will also issue 1 free attaching option for every 3 shares allocated under the plan. The options will be issued Dec. 8.

On Nov. 27, the company announced plans to consolidate its shares on a 1-for-12 basis. After consolidation, the company will have 152,026,318 shares on issue. The company's post-consolidated shares will start trading Dec. 12.
