New York pension fund invests additional $500M in Blackstone, Prologis funds

The New York State Common Retirement Fund raised its capital commitments in two real estate funds managed, respectively, by private equity firm Blackstone Group LP and industrial real estate investment trust Prologis Inc. by a total $500 million, IPE Real Assets reported.

According to the report, the New York pension fund committed a further $200 million to Blackstone Property Partners and $300 million to the Prologis Targeted US Logistics Fund.

Blackstone did not offer a comment on the matter, the publication added.
