Procter & Gamble Co. said May 21 that about 3,500 of its products are now on the SmartLabel online platform.
SmartLabel provides customers details about a wide variety of consumer goods, such as product ingredients, usage instructions, certifications and endorsements. Information about P&G brands like Febreze, Olay and Pampers can now be accessed on the SmartLabel website and mobile app.
The consumer goods giant said the move is a response to consumers who seek more information about product ingredients.
P&G added that it is planning to provide fragrance transparency in the U.S and Canada by the end of 2019.
