Japan M2 money supply climbs 6.4% in April

Japan's M2 money supply increased 6.4% to ¥998.6 trillion in April on a seasonally adjusted and annual basis, following a revised 2.2% rise in March, data from the Bank of Japan showed.

On an unadjusted basis, the annualized M2 money stock increased 3.3% to ¥1,002.5 trillion in April following a revised 3.1% increase to ¥989.1 trillion in March.

As of May 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥109.58.
