Report: LG to sell 'rollable' TVs in 2019

LG Electronics Inc. in 2019 will sell 65-inch TVs that can be rolled up and stored like a poster, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The TV will feature an organic light-emitting diode screen that can retract at the push of a button to allow the TV to be rolled up and stored when not in use.

The "rollable" screen was unveiled in early 2018, but the South Korean company reportedly will start selling it to the public in 2019.

LG declined to comment on the matter, the report added.

Meanwhile, the consumer electronics producer said on Dec. 12 that it will introduce a capsule-based craft-beer making machine in 2019. The company also launched a product line that combines appliances and furniture in November.
