Permitting issues delay full production at Wishbone Gold's Honduras plant

Wishbone Gold PLC said June 5 that while its processing plant in Honduras is fully operational and undertaking batch processing, full production is delayed pending certain permits to process large amounts of gold ore.

Full production was originally expected to be achieved in May.

The company is pursuing the permits directly with the Honduran government and is in discussions with its joint venture partners over the matter.

In September 2017, Wishbone Gold announced a potential three-month delay to the start of the project due to flooding and permitting issues.
