Autoliv Inc. said in a May 31 release that its top three shareholders agreed with Autoliv and Veoneer to remain major owners of Veoneer after the completion of the previously announced spinoff.

Cevian Capital, Alecta and AMF, which collectively own more than 20% of Autoliv's outstanding shares, have each agreed to hold more than 80% of the Veoneer shares they receive in the spinoff for a period of nine months.

The spinoff is expected to be completed June 29.
