PJT Partners Inc. has poached Antonin Baladi, Bank of America Corp.'s head of media and internet investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The London-based dealmaker is joining PJT in a senior role, and he will be responsible for building PJT's European technology, media and telecommunications investment banking business, sources told the news outlet.
Baladi is the latest in PJT's hiring spree since founder Paul Taubman took the company public in 2015, Bloomberg News noted. Previous additions included several healthcare-focused partners, a top IPO banker from UBS Group AG and David Perdue from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
