A federal judge in Brazil overturned an injunction blocking a proposed joint venture between U.S. aerospace company Boeing Co. and Brazilian planemaker Embraer SA, Reuters reported, citing public news agency Agencia Estado.

This is the second injunction related to the deal that has been overturned.

Federal Judge Therezinha Cazerta overturned the ruling following a request from Brazil's solicitor general, which argued that the injunction represented government overreach and would hurt the economy, the news wire reported.
