UK's Channel 5, Paramount Network to broadcast WWE programs

ViacomCBS Inc.-owned free-to-air TV network Channel 5 (UK) agreed to broadcast highlights of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.'s weekly programs "Raw" and "SmackDown" in the U.K. on weekends, beginning Feb. 2.

The partnership will also see Channel 5-programmed Paramount Network airing the show "NXT UK" on Wednesday midnights.

Channel 5's streaming service My5 will also add WWE programs to its lineup. Full seasons of "Total Divas" and "Miz & Mrs" will be made available on My5 and streaming platform Pluto TV in Britain.

British Telecom's BT Sport previously secured multiyear rights to WWE's weekly programming.
