* Mega Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. appointed Hu Kuang-Hua president, replacing Yang Li-Yen. Hu was also named a director of both Mega Financial and unit Mega International Commercial Bank Co. Ltd. Meanwhile, Robert Tsai Yong-Yi will replace Yang as president of Mega International Commercial Bank.
* Westpac Banking Corp. named Peter Nash as an independent nonexecutive director on its board, effective March 7.
*Malaysia Building Society Bhd. announced changes to its board, saying Johar bin Che Mat, Alina Binti Raja Muhd Alias, Aw Hong Boo and Jasmy bin Ismail resigned as independent nonexecutive directors. Meanwhile, two nonindependent nonexecutive directors of the company also resigned.
* India-based City Union Bank Ltd. appointed V.N. Shiva Shankar and T.S. Sridhar as additional directors on its board, effective Feb. 7.

* Taiwan-based BNP Paribas Cardif TCB Life Insurance Co. Ltd. said Chou Chun-Lung was appointed as director, effective Feb. 7.
