Uber board member to resign

Ryan Graves intends to resign as a director of Uber Technologies Inc., effective May 27, the company disclosed in a May 24 filing.

Graves' resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.

Graves was the company's first employee.

California-based Uber went public May 10, raising more than $8.1 billion from an offering of 180 million shares at $45 per share on the primary market.
