* Susan Lanigan was appointed to the board of Pine Bluff, Ark.-based Simmons First National Corp., the parent of Simmons Bank. Lanigan has been executive vice president and general counsel of Chico's FAS Inc. since 2016.

* Fordyce, Ark.-based FBT Bank & Mortgage, a unit of FBT Bancshares Inc., named Craig Attwood executive vice president and director of banking for Jefferson County, Arkansas Business reported. Attwood most recently served as vice president of the indirect lending division at Simmons Bank, according to the publication.

* Walter York was appointed to the board of Glasgow, Ky.-based South Central Bank Inc., a subsidiary of South Central Bankshares of Kentucky Inc. York serves as a partner in Miller and York Rentals, Louisville Business First reported.

* Birmingham, Ala.-based ServisFirst Bancshares Inc., the parent of ServisFirst Bank, appointed Hal Clemmer executive vice president of commercial banking, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported. Clemmer most recently served as the head of Fifth Third Bancorp's operations in Tennessee, the publication noted.
