Tokyo Kiho fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Tokyo Kiho Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥35.33 per share, a decrease of 46.8% from ¥66.42 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥15.6 million, a decrease of 46.8% from ¥29.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 1.0% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to ¥1.55 billion from ¥1.61 billion, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to ¥1.55 billion from ¥1.59 billion.

Reported net income declined 51.3% year over year to ¥19.0 million, or ¥42.96 per share, from ¥39.0 million, or ¥88.18 per share.

As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
