CJW International Q1 profit falls YOY

CJW International Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to NT$395,130, a decline of 98.5% from NT$26.4 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin declined to 0.1% from 3.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to NT$666.0 million from NT$673.9 million, and total operating expenses climbed 5.9% on an annual basis to NT$672.3 million from NT$635.1 million.

Reported net income fell 97.8% year over year to NT$1.1 million, or 1 cents per share, from NT$47.9 million, or 46 cents per share.
