Financial advisory and asset management firm Lazard Ltd. named Jean Pierre Zarouk as chairman of Lazard Brazil Investment Banking and Antonio Pereira as managing director and the unit's CEO.

Zarouk, who joined Lazard in 2004, is the founder and co-head of Signatura Lazard Assessoria Financeira Ltda., Lazard's boutique investment banking unit in Sao Paulo.

Pereira joins Lazard from Goldman Sachs, most recently as head of investment banking in Brazil.
