EDF offers to buy out renewables developer Futuren

EDF Renewables offered to acquire the remaining shares it does not already own in renewable energy developer Futuren SA at €1.15 per share.

The French utility owns 90.50% of Futuren's share capital and holds 90.36% of its voting rights.

Futuren's board of directors appointed Associés en Finance to assess the fairness of the financial terms of the buyout offer and the subsequent "squeeze-out."

EDF Renewables and Futuren are subsidiaries of EDF Group.
