CK Infrastructure H1 profit climbs 17.7% YOY

CK Infrastructure Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first half was HK$1.48 per share, an increase of 17.7% from HK$1.25 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$3.72 billion, an increase of 17.7% from HK$3.16 billion in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to HK$3.00 billion from HK$2.96 billion, and total operating expenses declined 8.2% from the prior-year period to HK$1.62 billion from HK$1.76 billion.

Reported net income rose on an annual basis to HK$5.66 billion, or HK$2.25 per share, from HK$5.51 billion, or HK$2.19 per share.
