Taiwanese bank defers plan to set up Manila, Singapore branches

Taiwan Business Bank Co. Ltd. postponed its plan to establish branches in Manila and Singapore.

The bank said Feb. 7 that its board made the decision in view of rising compliance cost in the Philippines and Singapore. The bank had announced its plan to set up a branch in Manila in July 2016.
