Total Solar wins 2nd tender call to develop 70 solar projects in France

Total Solar in partnership with Groupe Carré will develop 70 solar projects in France with a total capacity of more than 32 MW.

The Total SA affiliate won the second call for tenders to provide 22% of the total allocated capacity, with SunPower Corp. providing more than 500 MW of its E-series and X-series solar panels, according to an Oct. 12 release.

"This success follows on from those under previous calls for tenders, especially for own consumption and large carports," said Julien Pouget, senior vice president of renewables.
