Clearing Corp. of India to issue 500M rupees of preference shares

Clearing Corp. of India Ltd. plans to issue 500 million rupees of preference shares.

It will issue 50 million nonconvertible preference shares at 10 rupees per share, amounting to 500 million rupees.

The company issued new shares for the purpose of redeeming its existing preference shares.

As of Feb. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 64.34 Indian rupees.
