Mexico's Financiera Independencia expands corporate manager bench

Mexico's Financiera Independencia SAB de CV Sociedad Financiera de Objeto Múltiple ENR created three new corporate manager positions, while replacing a fourth position.

Lorenzo Adrián Álvarez Vita was named to head the corporate directorate for new business models. He previously served as a branch operation director.

Marco Antonio García Argaez, previously a corporate risk director, will now head the corporate directorate for risk and products.

Carlos Enrique Ramírez Macías will head the corporate directorate of individual business, with its operating scope covering both Financiera Independencia and its subsidiary Apoyo Económico Familiar SA de CV SOFOM ENR. Ramírez previously served as a commercial director.

Finally, Enrique Brockmann del Valle was named corporate director for administration and finance, replacing Adrián Orocio Barreto, effective Oct. 2. Brockmann is currently the CFO for publishing company GRUPO EXPANSIÓN S.A. DE CV.

Barreto, meanwhile, will return to the position of deputy director of the comptroller. He stepped into the corporate director role after José María Cid Michavila resigned.
