SEC halts trading in Cherubim securities over filing delinquencies

The Securities and Exchange Commission suspended trading in Cherubim Interests Inc. and two other companies, amidst questions surrounding the purchase of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology-related assets.

Trading in the real estate developer's securities has been suspended from 9:30 a.m. ET on Feb. 16 through 11:59 p.m. ET on March 2, due to the company's delinquency in filing quarterly and annual reports.

In a release, Cherubim said it will comply with any regulatory inquiry during this period.
