Plaintiff files for dismissal of First West Virginia/CB Financial deal complaint

A purported shareholder of First West Virginia Bancorp Inc. has filed for a notice of voluntary dismissal of his complaint against the Wheeling, W.Va.-based company's merger into Carmichaels, Pa.-based CB Financial Services Inc.

The deal between the two companies was completed April 30.

In the complaint filed with the Circuit Court of Ohio County, W.Va., Paul Parshall claimed that First West Virginia Bancorp was undervalued by the terms of its merger into CB Financial. He also claimed that material information was omitted from the company's proxy statement.
