June 2nd half sees uptick in gaming short interest

U.S. gaming short interest rose 22 basis points on average duringthe second half of June, risingto 4.25% from 4.03% as of June 15.

Red Rock ResortsInc. saw a 274-basis-point increase in shares held short to 4.57% ofits outstanding stock between June 15 and June 30, representing the biggest shortinterest gain in the gaming sector.

Experiencing the largest decline in short interest during theperiod was Wynn Resorts Ltd.,plunging 181 basis points to 8.89% of its outstanding shares held short.

The most shorted gaming stock, meanwhile, was , with a 3-basis-pointincrease in shares held short to 9.95% of its outstanding shares held short as ofJune 30.
