Gresham House raises £35M for UK housing and infrastructure fund

Gresham House PLC received two further commitments, totaling £35 million, for its British Strategic Investment Fund, IPE Real Assets reported.

The commitments were received from the Greater Manchester Pension Fund and Greater London Authority.

The fund has now attracted £200 million, and the firm anticipates a final close in the first quarter of 2020, the report said.

Cornerstone investors are the Royal County of Berkshire and Teesside Pension Funds.

To date, the fund has made six investments and has deployed 41% of available capital into renewable energy, vertical farming, waste recycling and key worker accommodation assets, the report said.

Greater Manchester Pension Fund also committed a further £20 million to a North West co-investment portfolio, IPE Real Assets said.
