Hanoi HaiDuong Beer Q2 profit falls YOY

Hanoi HaiDuong Beer JSC said its normalized net income for the second quarter was 7.64 billion dong, a decrease from 7.72 billion dong in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 10.8% from 9.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 12.1% year over year to 70.98 billion dong from 80.72 billion dong, and total operating expenses decreased 14.0% on an annual basis to 59.74 billion dong from 69.44 billion dong.

Reported net income totaled 9.53 billion dong, compared with 9.69 billion dong in the year-earlier period.

As of July 22, US$1 was equivalent to 21,821 dong.
