Petrofac Ltd.'s engineering and production services division bagged a contract to provide managed maintenance services to support Al Dhafra Petroleum Operations Co. Ltd.'s operations at the Haliba field in Abu Dhabi, according to a Sept. 18 release.

The contract's length and value was not disclosed. Al Dhafra Petroleum is a joint venture between state-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., with a 60% stake, and Korea National Oil Corp. and GS Holdings Corp. unit GS Energy Corp. through the Korean Abu Dhabi Oil Consortium, with the remaining 40%.

The Haliba field is located along the southeast border of Abu Dhabi emirate in the United Arab Emirates. Al Dhafra Petroleum recently began producing oil from the field in early July.
