Argentina's John Deere Credit to expand global bond program

Shareholders of Argentina's John Deere Credit Compañía Financiera SA approved an expansion of the company's global bond program by 2.70 billion pesos, bringing its maximum amount to 6.20 billion pesos.

According to a Feb. 19 filing with financial regulator CNV, an extraordinary shareholder's meeting decided to increase the maximum amount from 3.50 billion pesos after John Deere Credit Compañía Financiera's board argued capital markets were the "best current financing tool" for the company.

As of Feb. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 19.67 Argentine pesos.
