Nodechain swings to profit in Q1

Nodechain Inc. said its first-quarter normalized net income came to $2,910, compared with a loss of $10,200 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.9% from negative 89.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to $49,090 from $11,370, and total operating expenses rose 60.4% on an annual basis to $44,440 from $27,700.

Reported net income came to $4,650, or 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of $16,330, or a loss of 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
