Raymond James Ltd., the Canadian arm of Raymond James Financial Inc., has hired Marwan Kubursi for its investment banking team as head of health care and managing director of technology and blockchain.

The company also appointed David Novak as a managing director and healthcare research analyst.

Kubursi most recently was head of technology and life sciences at an independent Canadian investment bank. Novak joined from an independent investment bank where he served as equity research analyst covering health care and biotechnology.
