Ford Motor grosses $1.30 billion from debt offering

Ford Motor Co. raised gross proceeds of $1.30 billion from an offering of 5.291% senior unsecured notes due Dec. 8, 2046.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital.

Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and RBC Capital Markets LLC were the lead underwriters.

Banco Bradesco BBI SA, BB Securities Ltd., BMO Capital Markets Corp., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., CIBC World Markets Corp., Commerz Markets LLC, Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Lloyds Securities Inc., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, RBS Securities Inc., Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., SG Americas Securities LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC also served as underwriters for the offering.
