General Motors Co. announced Oct. 10 that it appointed Jami Miscik, a former deputy director of intelligence at the Central Intelligence Agency, to its board of directors.
Miscik is CEO and vice chair of consulting firm Kissinger Associates Inc. and previously held roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Miscik has served on the President's Intelligence Advisory Board and is currently on the board of directors at Morgan Stanley. She is co-vice chair of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Miscik's election to GM's board brings the automaker's total number of directors to 12.
