EC approves Macquarie-backed fund's proposed KCOM acquisition

Based on the commission's review, the proposed transaction "would be limited to the horizontal and vertical overlaps between the companies." The EC excluded any competition concerns that may arise from conglomerate relationships between companies.

MEIF 6 Fibre is backed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (Europe) Ltd.
