Merchant House International fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

4912637 said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to 1 Australian cents per share, a decline of 15.0% from 1 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$1.1 million, a decline of 14.3% from A$1.3 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to A$47.5 million from A$46.7 million, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to A$45.6 million from A$44.6 million.
