Castle Harlan announces spinout of Colyar from Gold Star Foods

New York-based private equity firm Castle Harlan Inc. announced the spinout of Colyar Technology Solutions LLC from Gold Star Foods Inc.

Headquartered in Arizona, Colyar is a software provider facilitating the management of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition and Food Distribution Programs. Colyar processes more than $9 billion in claim reimbursement requests each year with clients representing 31 agencies in 27 states.

Recently Castle Harlan sold Gold Star Foods Inc. to Highview Capital for an undisclosed amount.
