Office landlord Cousins Properties Inc. lodged a land development permit for its 8th @ West project, worth between $150 million and $200 million, in Atlanta's Midtown, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
The development entails 485,000 square feet of office space and 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail across 31 stories, to be built on slightly less than an acre between Seventh and Eighth streets.
The project will redevelop the block, which is presently occupied by nightspot and bar The Daiquiri Factory, the Oct. 12 report added.
Vertical construction is expected to commence as early as January 2019, according to the report.
