Moelis Australia Ltd. started raising capital for a fixed-income fund operated by its subsidiary Moelis Australia Asset Management Ltd. ahead of the fund's planned listing in the first half of 2020, The Australian Financial Review reported Sept. 4.
Moelis Australia sought bids for the pre-IPO round for Moelis Australia Fixed Income Fund by the end of September, and is expected to take a stake in the investment vehicle as part of the raising, the publication noted.
The fixed-income fund was set up in 2018 and holds about A$70 million in invested assets. The fund will offer investors fixed-income and credit exposures, including debtor and trade finance, equipment finance and personal loans, according to the report.
