Estée Lauder partners with Google for voice-activated beauty app

The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. on Nov. 16 said it is collaborating with Google Inc. to launch a voice-activated beauty application.

The app, called Estée Lauder Nighttime Expert, will be available in December. The service provides consumers personalized skin care solutions, including skin care application techniques and suggested nighttime routines.

The beauty app will be available via Google's virtual personal assistant service Google Assistant on its Google Home smart speaker.

The personal products company said it plans to launch future experiences worldwide in early 2018 as it expands its omnichannel efforts.
