Banco Santander Uruguay shuffles board

Uruguay's Banco Santander SA said Fernando Jimenez de Arechaga resigned as chairman of the board, according to a regulatory filing.

Jorge Ottavianelli took over Jimenez as chairman, while Juan Carlos Chomali and Laura Raffo assumed their posts as directors.

Ottavianelli is also the executive director for Uruguay's private banking association ABPU, according to his LinkedIn profile.
