Resol Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to a loss of ¥5.51 per share, compared with a loss of ¥6.84 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥30.6 million, compared with a loss of ¥38.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to negative 0.7% from negative 0.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to ¥4.54 billion, compared with ¥4.57 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to ¥4.56 billion from ¥4.63 billion.
Reported net income increased on an annual basis to ¥349.0 million, or ¥62.82 per share, from ¥46.0 million, or ¥8.28 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
